Over $42 billion was invested in AI startups in Q4 alone, nearly doubling Q3’s record-breaking $21 billion.
This was 3.5 times the funding AI startups attracted in Q4 2023, showcasing explosive year-over-year growth.
Massive Deals Shaped the Landscape:
OpenAI secured $6.6 billion at a staggering $157 billion valuation, with Thrive Capital leading the round.
xAI raised $6 billion, backed by prominent investors like the Qatar Investment Authority, Andreessen Horowitz, and Sequoia Capital, propelling its valuation to $50 billion.
